Welcome to the Schools of Chesham Carnival 2012
The Schools of Chesham Carnival is now in its 38th year. Eight Infant and Junior Schools are taking part this year and for the first time for many years we welcome a senior school Chiltern Hills Academy to the Carnival. The money raised is shared between these participating schools.
This year’s theme is ‘The reign of Queen Elizabeth’ and I am sure you’ll see a range of interpretations from the schools.
The procession starts at Midday in Asheridge Road finishing at Watermeadow Car Park. This will be followed by a fun filled event for all the Family in Lowndes Park. Attractions include many stalls, bouncy castles, adult and children tombola’s barbeque and tea tent. There will be an arena with a full programme of events during the afternoon.
Can I give my thanks to all those who make the carnival happen. The committee, with parents from the participating schools, local businesses, volunteers and the people of Chesham.
We look forward to seeing you all on the day.
